Rutherford Hotel Nelson is centrally located in the heart of the city, meaning Nelson’s many galleries and City attractions are just a stone’s throw away. All rooms have a view of the harbour, city, historic South Street or Nelson’s beautiful cathedral.

Special accommodation rates have been negotiated for conference participants at Rutherford Hotel. The rates are only available for the nights of 9, 10 & 11 June 2024. Nights outside of these dates can be requested, but cannot be guaranteed at the special conference rates.

Please note bookings are subject to availability and your credit card details will be required to secure your reservation, should you wish to pay upon check out. Room rates are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include goods and services tax (GST) of 15%.

Premium Rooms

Stylish and well-appointed Premium Rooms come complete with en-suite bathrooms (shower over bath), bathrobes, WiFi, Sky TV, direct-dial phone, mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms are $195.00 per night.

Terms & conditions

The conference has secured a block booking at the above hotel. Rooms will be allocated on a first-in basis until Friday 17 May 2024, as long as there are rooms available. After that date, all unallocated rooms will be released and no guarantee can be made that rooms will be available. All prices are per room, per night and include goods and services tax (GST) at 15%. Breakfast is not included in the above rates. Full terms and conditions are available on the online form for the hotel.

Booked accommodation must be guaranteed with either a credit card number or full payment. Should you guarantee your accommodation via credit card, please be advised our payment service provider Centium Software, is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant. This means, your card holder data is protected to the highest possible levels, from data entry into our online registration sites, through to payment into the banks.

On check-out, any additional costs incurred can be settled with cash, eftpos or a credit card. If you cancel your accommodation after Friday 17 May 2024, you will be charged a cancellation fee levied by the hotel.
